With its balance of straight and rounded lines, Liu Chuan-kai’s (劉傳凱) stainless steel chairs evoke the harmonious, elegant silhouettes of Ming Dynasty furniture. Liu added upright handles to each chair’s arms to help users get out of their seats or serve as hooks for hanging purses while lounging outdoors.
